UP Woman Accused of Planting Beef to Frame Husband in Cow Slaughter Case
A suspected cow slaughter case in Lucknow has escalated into a major criminal conspiracy investigation, with police alleging that a businessman was deliberately framed not once, but twice, using planted evidence. Authorities say the motive appears to be tied to a marital dispute, turning what initially seemed like a routine case into a complex legal battle.

Police sources said the probe soon raised serious doubts about the booking and delivery process. These inconsistencies led officials to suspect that the consignment had been deliberately arranged to implicate the businessman.
The probe also revisited a similar incident from September last year, when Wasif was arrested after suspected beef was found in his parked vehicle in Hazratganj. He was released shortly after, but police now believe that incident too may have been orchestrated as part of the broader plan to frame him.
So far, Amaan has been arrested, while Ameena remains at large. Officials said efforts are underway to arrest her, and further legal proceedings are continuing.
An FIR was registered at Gomti Nagar’s Vibhuti Khand police station against the concerned policemen. The FIR invokes Sections 329(3) (criminal trespass), 351(3) (criminal intimidation) and 352 (provocation with intent to cause breach of the peace) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
He said, "Investigations are continuing into both the alleged conspiracy and the actions of the suspended personnel, and efforts are on to ensure the arrest of the woman named in the case."
How the Case Unfolded
The latest incident began on January 14, when Kakori police intercepted an online porter vehicle on the outskirts of Lucknow. Based on a tip-off, officers recovered around 12 kg of suspected beef from the vehicle. The delivery was booked in the name of businessman Wasif, from Aminabad.Wasif denied any involvement, prompting investigators to carry out detailed technical and field-level verification. Police Action After High Court Incident
The case took another twist after a complaint alleged that police personnel attempted to detain the accused woman from inside the Lucknow High Court premises earlier this week.
