Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Application Deadline Extended - Check Dates and How to Apply
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an extension for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Examination 2025 application deadline. Aspiring candidates now have until October 31, 2025 (11:00 PM) to complete their online applications on the official website - ssc.gov.in.
Earlier, the registration window was set to close on October 21, 2025, and the correction period was scheduled from October 29 to 31. With the fresh extension, applicants now have an additional ten days to register, submit forms, and avoid last-minute technical glitches before the portal shuts.
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the selection process is scheduled to take place tentatively in December 2025 or January 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised education board.
The age limit for applicants is 18 to 25 years as on July 1, 2025, meaning candidates should be born not before July 2, 2000, and not after July 1, 2007.
The CBT will include 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for every incorrect answer. The marks obtained in the CBT will determine the final merit list, while the physical and medical tests will be qualifying in nature.

Extra Marks for NCC Certificate Holders

The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill 7,565 Constable (Executive) vacancies in the Delhi Police — including 5,069 for male candidates and 2,496 for female candidates.
