Boney's Thoughts on Janhvi, Ram, and the Film
In February of this year, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi's father and producer, confirmed to iDream Media that his daughter had indeed filmed a project with Jr NTR. He had said, “My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr NTR. She’s loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films, and she feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully, the films will work, and she will get more work. She will also act with Suriya soon. My wife (Sridevi) acted in multiple languages, I hope my daughter does the same.”
Janhvi is poised to mark her entry into Telugu cinema with "Devara," alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is scheduled for release in October this year. Additionally, she has "Ulajh" in the works.
She has another project on the horizon titled "Mr. and Mrs. Mahi," where she will portray a cricket player alongside Rajkummar Rao. This sports drama marks Janhvi and Rajkummar's second collaboration following "Roohi." Directed by Sharan Sharma, who helmed his debut with "Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl," this film promises an exciting venture for the duo.
Fans can anticipate seeing Janhvi starring alongside Varun Dhawan in the romantic drama film "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari." Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the movie is set to be both written and directed by filmmaker Shashank Khaitan. Scheduled for release in theaters on April 25, 2025, "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari" will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank.
