Fairy Tail Is Back: New Manga Series, Autograph Tours, and Art Exhibition Revealed
The Fairy Tail guild is finally back with a brand-new adventure, and fans don't have to wait long to see their favorites in action once again. Series creator Hiro Mashima revealed that the upcoming new miniseries is scheduled for a late July release.
The new Fairy Tail series was initially set to debut this August, but had its release date bumped up one week earlier. Scheduling issues with Weekly Shonen Magazine and Mashima blazing through production allowed fans to get their hands on the latest Fairy Tail much sooner than expected.
Despite the fact that Fairy Tail’s anime and manga releases have ended several years ago, it’s never quite left the spotlight thanks to Hiro Mashima being incredibly busy. The franchise got an official sequel manga (which led to its own anime adaptation bringing back the original voice cast and much of the production staff), and Mashima has since released all sorts of other new projects like Edens Zero, Dead Rock and more. It’s never really been inactive, but now it’s going to come back with even more on the horizon thanks to this 20th anniversary celebration.
First, Hiro Mashima will participate in a series of in-person autograph sessions. These sessions are scheduled to take place across five major cities in Japan: Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Details regarding the exact venues, dates, and the application process for these exclusive sessions will be announced at a later date on the official website and Mashima’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
In fact, Mashima has indicated that there are plans for international autograph sessions, though specific countries and dates have not been officially confirmed yet. This is amazing news for the international fans of the manga, as signing sessions like these rarely happen outside Japan.
Second, a special commemorative art exhibition and sales event is currently underway. This event is organized by the company Art Vivant and features a large, curated collection of original artwork from the manga’s long history.
The return of this anime is set to bring back nostalgia and create excitement amongst its die- hard fans.

Fairy Tail Returns for New Revival Series for 20th Anniversary
Fairy Tail has announced that as part of the celebration for the manga’s 20th anniversary, Mashima is returning to Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine with a new series. Beginning with the August 5th edition of the magazine, this new Fairy Tail series is described as a ‘short-term intensive serialisation,’ so unfortunately it won’t be running for two long. It’s a cool comeback for the franchise given that the creator hasn’t fully illustrated for the series in quite some time, so it’s certainly going to be welcome. You may also like
