As devastating monsoon floods submerge vast stretches of Assam inundating more than 600 villages and severely affecting over 4.4 lakh residents across districts such as Charaideo, Sivasagar, Golaghat, and Jorhat Bollywood actor Salman Khan has stepped forward to assist affected communities. Coordinating directly while continuing his film commitments in Mumbai, the actor mobilized his charitable foundation, Being Human, alongside local volunteer networks on the ground.
Rather than relying solely on social media appeals, Khan chose to launch a direct, phased ground operation through the Salman Khan Fan Club (SKFC) Assam. Local teams are distributing critical relief supplies straight to families isolated by the rising waters.
