Superstar Rajinikanth has hit pause on his film projects to embark on a spiritual journey in the Himalayas, accompanied by close friends. Pictures from his travels are now circulating online, capturing the actor in his most grounded moments.

In one striking image, Rajinikanth enjoys a simple meal served on a pattal (leaf plate) by the roadside, far from glitz and glamour. This choice of simplicity has won hearts, reaffirming his reputation as a humble, down-to-earth icon.


Another snapshot shows him in plain white attire, engaging with local residents at an ashram and paying respects to a priest. Fans praised the images, noting that his humility has remained constant, on and off the screen.


On Saturday, the superstar visited Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, meditated by the Ganga, and participated in the Ganga Aarti, immersing himself in traditional rituals. He then traveled to Dwarahat on Sunday, continuing his spiritual journey.

Despite his Himalayan retreat, Rajinikanth’s cinematic journey remains active. This year, he was seen as a cop in TJ Gnanavel’s ‘Vettaiyan’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rana Daggubati. He also featured in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ensemble ‘Coolie’ with stars like Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Upendra, and Aamir Khan. Currently, he is shooting for ‘Jailer 2’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
