How to Make Beetroot Kanji

Step 1: Prepare the Beetroot

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

Add the beetroot pieces to a clean glass jar. Pour in the water and add the mustard seeds, salt, and red chilli powder. Stir well.

Step 3: Ferment Naturally

Cover the jar loosely and keep it in a sunny spot or at room temperature for 3 to 5 days. Stir the mixture once daily using a clean spoon.
