Apple unveiled its 2025 iPhone lineup at the event, introducing the iPhone 17 series and the slimmest-ever iPhone Air model with new design upgrades, fresh colours, and a next-gen processor. Following the launch, Apple has quietly pulled some older models from its online store in India and globally. This does not mean those iPhones are discontinued completely, but they’re still available through authorised Apple resellers, e-commerce platforms, and retail partners while stocks last.

List of iPhone models removed from Apple Store

Apple has removed three iPhones from its website. These include both iPhone 16 Pro models – iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, along with the base iPhone 15 model. It must be noted that while these iPhones are no longer available on the Apple website, you can buy them via authorised Apple retailers, online commerce platforms and retail stores till the stock lasts.

It is important to note that among the older iPhones that have been delisted, only the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max supported Apple Intelligence. This is the iPhone maker’s personal intelligence system that combines the power of generative models with personal context. This means that all the iPhones that are available right now on the Apple Store come with Apple Intelligence support.

With these three models officially removed from the website, the only way to experience Apple Intelligence is by buying the base iPhone 16 or iPhone 16e models, the latest iPhone 17 series or iPhone Air models.

All three models of iPhone 17 – iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, as well as the iPhone Air, support Apple Intelligence. Only the base iPhone 17 model comes powered by the A19 chipset , delivering a 20% boost over the A18. Meanwhile, the Air and Pro models are powered by the A19 Pro processor, offering 40% faster performance than their predecessor.
