Four people who tragically died after falling from the same cliffs over a three-day period have been named.

An elderly coupleseen 'hand-in-hand' by witnesses, before falling from Whitby cliffs, North Yorkshire, on July 30, were identified as David Jeffcock, 80, and Susan Jeffcock, 74. A day later, the body of beloved grandma, Joan Blanchon, 69, was found at the bottom of the cliffs by the Pavilion. And on August 2, the body of Susan Fawcett, 59, was discovered a little further along the coast at Sandsend by the main carpark.

The deaths of the four people has caused shock and sadness in Whitby, with family and friends posting tributes, telling of the "much-loved" couple, and the pair of "beloved" grandmothers.
