Spice Girls comeback rumours as they announce first project in years

Fans of the Spice Girlswill be getting a little taste of merch after the huge noughties band collaborated with the rugby team, the Red Roses, as the sports team competes for a home World Cup. The link-up is the group's first huge projectafter they released the 25th anniversary edition of Spiceworld in 2022.
There will be a range of licensed products by England Rugby partnersand licensees Castore, Fanatics, and Gilbert launching over the coming weeks. Products fans can purchase include jerseys, track jackets, bomber jackets, hoodies, accessories and a limited edition Red Roses and Spice Girls rugby ball.
Speaking of the collaboration, the girl group said: "We are excited to partner with the Red Roses in supporting women’s sport, particularly as this year for the first time in history there will be a female president of the RFU - that’s incredible Girl Power!

"We hope the whole country will join us in cheering on the team at the Rugby World Cup, as they build on their great start."
Zoe Aldcroft, Red Roses captain said: “This is a really important year for us as a team and it’s fantastic to partner with a band which shares so many of the same values as we do and understands the dedication, hard work and perseverance it takes to reach the top and stay there.
“We also know how critical it is that the tournament inspires lots of people, girls and boys, to get into rugby and benefit from the sport in the way that we as a team all do – friendship, strength, confidence, power, self-expression and so much more.
"The Spice Girls, with their huge following, will really help our sport reach new places, new fans of all ages and further boost the growth we’ve seen in recent years.”
Meanwhile, two of the Spice Girls recently reunited for their first musical performance in years as they took part in KPOPPED last month.
The series saw iconic Western singers collaborate with Korean act to recreate their chart-topping hits in the style of South Korean songs.

Emma Bunton and Mel B reunited to take part in the series, performing their hits Wanna Be and Say You'll Be There.
However, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell were nowhere to be seen.
The official description had stated: "This energetic music series, starring PSY and Megan Thee Stallion, features surprising collaborations. And behind-the-scenes moments of connection from iconic Western artists and top K-pop idols while they create genre-blending covers of their biggest hits."
