Newspoint

The preparations for the Clash in Paris 2025 premium live event are in full swing, highlighted during the August 15 episode of Friday Night Smackdown on the USA Network. This episode provided insights into the anticipated title matches for the upcoming event in France, featuring both male and female competitors.

Currently, there is no challenger announced for WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. However, she was present at Smackdown, where Kiana James approached her backstage, offering her assistance, which included perks like a custom pink World Championship. Stratton declined the offer and walked away.

Tensions escalated later in the show when Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill had a heated exchange with Smackdown's general manager, Nick Aldis, who attempted to mediate. Nia Jax then entered the scene, prompting Stratton to challenge her to 'bring it' if she desired another title opportunity. Although no official announcement was made, it seems WWE is aiming for a three-way match at Clash in Paris 2025 featuring these three competitors.

On the men's side, Drew McIntyre appears to be targeting the WWE Championship currently held by Cody Rhodes for Clash in Paris 2025. During Smackdown, McIntyre expressed his respect for Rhodes but mentioned that he was merely defending himself after Rhodes attacked him last week. The champion insisted he is not the villain in this narrative, but if pushed, he would seize Rhodes' title and become the true nightmare.
