Virat Kohli-Backed WROGN's FY25 Loss Surges 32% To INR 76 Cr
Virat Kohli-backed D2C fashion brand WROGN’s net loss jumped 32% to INR 75.5 Cr in FY25 from INR 56.8 Cr in the previous fiscal year, despite a decline in its revenue.
The brand’s operating revenue slipped 9% to INR 223.2 Cr during the year under review from INR 245.3 Cr in FY24. Notably, this was the second consecutive year of decline in WROGN’s sales. In FY24, its revenue from operations slumped 29% YoY.
Including other income of INR 9 Cr, the brand’s total income for FY25 stood at INR 232.3 Cr as against 265.7 Cr in FY24.
Founded in 2014 by brother-sister duo Anjana Reddy and Vikram Reddy, WROGN is a men’s fashion brand which sells a wide range of casual wear, footwear and accessories. It sells the products via its own website, ecommerce platforms like Myntra, Flipkart, and Meesho, offline stores, among others.
It has raised a total funding of over $66.27 Mn to date from investors like Aditya Birla Group, Accel Partners, Flipkart, and Alteria Capital.
WROGN competes with the likes of Snitch, Bewakoof, The Pant Project, and Rare Rabbit in the D2C fashion and lifestyle segment. Among its peers, Snitch posted an operating revenue of about INR 520 Cr and an EBITDA of INR 30 Cr in FY25.

Where Did WROGN Spend?
Despite the decline in its top line, the D2C brand’s total expenses grew 2% to INR 312.6 Cr from INR 306.4 Cr in FY24. Here’s a breakdown of the brand’s major expenses in FY25:
Purchases Of Stock-In-Trade: WROGN purchased goods worth INR 123.4 Cr during the year under review for reselling, down 3% from INR 126.7 Cr in FY24. This was the biggest expense for the brand.
Employee Benefit Expenses: The brand’s employee costs, which include wages, salaries, PF, and more, zoomed 21% to INR 38.9 Cr in FY25 from INR 32.3 Cr in FY24.
Advertising Promotional Expenses: WROGN’s spending on advertising, promotion and marketing surged 63% to INR 49.2 Cr in FY25 from INR 30.5 Cr in the previous year.
Commission Paid To Other Selling Agents:
Notably, Aditya Birla Digital Fashion picked up a 32.8% stake in WROGN in FY25. At the end of March 2025, WROGN’s accumulated losses stood at INR 709 Cr.
