Price and Performance

The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 offers the same 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, now compatible with E20 fuel. It also receives cosmetic upgrades, including a new lime green colour option, and is priced at ₹5.76 lakh ex-showroom. This makes the motorcycle ₹10,000 more expensive than the previous model.

The engine of the motorcycle is designed to deliver strong low and mid-range performance, making it suitable for both city commuting and highway cruising. The smooth power delivery makes the bike approachable for new riders while maintaining Kawasaki’s renowned reliability and refinement.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, while an assist and slipper clutch comes as standard. This helps reduce wheel hop during aggressive downshifts and makes clutch operation lighter and easier.

E20 Fuel Compatibility

The E20 compliance is the biggest update to the Ninja 500, helping it meet India’s evolving emission and fuel regulations while making the motorcycle future-ready for the Indian market.
