Mahindra Vision S: Everything You Need To Know About Mahindra's Rugged Compact SUV
Mahindra unveiled the Vision S Concept as part of its Freedom_NU event on August 15, 2025. The concept previews a new sub-4-metre compact SUV that has already been spotted testing on Indian roads, indicating Mahindra's steady progress in expanding its lineup. The Vision S is expected to compete with models such as the Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and the Kia Sonet.

This engine has a capacity of 1,197 cc, with an expected output of around 130 PS and an expected torque of 230-250 Nm. The engine comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
1.5-litre mHawk Diesel
This engine has a capacity of 1,497 cc with an expected output of around 117 PS and an expected torque of 300 Nm. It comes equipped with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The length of the car is expected to be under 4 meters in order to qualify for lower taxation in India. It will have a confirmed wheelbase of 2,665 mm. The car is also expected to have high ground clearance for better off-road capacity, while its tall SUV proportions aim to maximize cabin space.
