Often referred to as the Mahindra Baby Scorpio , the upcoming SUV is expected to combine the rugged character associated with Mahindra's larger SUVs with a more compact footprint. Recent sightings have also provided the first glimpse inside the cabin, revealing several interesting details.

Rugged And Familiar Exterior Design

The Mahindra Vision S 2026 is expected to feature a boxy silhouette with an upright front end and a flat bonnet. Test vehicles have been seen with round LED headlamps, while a circular LED DRL could be offered, potentially drawing inspiration from the Thar Roxx.

The front could also feature a vertically arranged slat-style grille and rectangular fog lamp housings. A radar module visible on the lower section of the grille hints that the Mahindra Vision S could be equipped with advanced driver assistance technology.

The side profile is expected to feature prominent polygonal wheel arches, flush-fitting door handles and large alloy wheels. A flat roof, rectangular rear quarter glass, vertically positioned tail lamps and a rear-mounted spare wheel could further strengthen its rugged SUV identity.

First Look At The Vision S Interior

Recent spy shots have offered the first glimpse of the Mahindra Vision S interior, revealing a cabin that appears to borrow design cues from models such as the Thar Roxx and Scorpio N.

One particularly interesting detail is the BE 6-inspired steering wheel seen on the test vehicle. This could suggest that the prototype spotted was an electric version of the Vision S, although the final specifications remain unclear.

The dashboard appears to feature a high-set layout with a large, squared infotainment display. The screen could measure around 12.3 inches, while vertical air vents and a dedicated climate control area are also expected.

Expected Features And Equipment

The Mahindra Baby Scorpio SUV could be offered with a panoramic sunroof, three-spoke steering wheel and dual-tone cabin theme. Other expected equipment includes ventilated and heated seats, hill descent control, dual-zone climate control, a drive mode selector and traction control.

The presence of a radar module also raises expectations of ADAS features, although the exact technology package is yet to be confirmed.

Expected Engine Options

Details about the Mahindra Vision S engine options have not been officially confirmed. However, the SUV is expected to be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.

Potential transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed DCT and AMT. More details are expected to emerge closer to the launch.
