Toyota is gearing up to introduce the next-generation Toyota Hilux in India, with the official launch expected on July 28, 2026. Ahead of its debut, the company has released a teaser, hinting at a significant transformation for its iconic pickup truck. Since entering the Indian market in 2022, the Hilux has built a strong reputation for its rugged capability and reliability. The upcoming Toyota Hilux 2026 is expected to carry that legacy forward while adding modern styling, cutting-edge technology and enhanced efficiency.

Bold New Exterior Design

The Toyota Hilux 2026 is expected to feature an all-new design that gives the pickup a more premium and commanding road presence. The front is likely to get sleek LED daytime running lights and LED headlamps connected by a black trim carrying the Toyota badge.


A redesigned body-coloured grille with a honeycomb finish, trapezoidal styling elements, larger air intakes and a silver skid plate are expected to add to its rugged appeal. Along the sides, the pickup could feature black ORVMs, Hilux badging, sturdy side steps, pull-out door handles and thick black body cladding.

At the rear, the vehicle is expected to receive C-shaped LED tail-lamps, a redesigned tailgate with bold Toyota lettering, parking sensors and a robust black bumper, giving it a tougher appearance.
