Legislative Assembly elections were held in Puducherry on 9 April, 2026 to elect all 30 members of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. Votes are scheduled to be counted and results declared on 4 May, 2026. The Assembly’s tenure is set to conclude on 15 June, 2026. In the previous elections held in April, 2021, the All India N.R. Congress-led National Democratic Alliance formed the government, securing 16 of the 30 seats, with N. Rangaswamy taking office as Chief Minister. In late 2025, the Election Commission of India carried out a Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls after a gap of 24 years.
