Tamil Nadu last went to the polls in April 2021 to elect its 234-member Assembly, with the term set to end on May 10, 2026. The DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance secured a decisive victory, winning 159 seats and forming the government, with M. K. Stalin as Chief Minister. As per the latest electoral roll revision by the Election Commission, over 56.7 million voters are eligible to vote, including male, female, and third gender voters.
